Lindsy Gardner, library director for the past 10 years, announced this week that she will be leaving the Lancaster Community Library next week for Alabama where she will serve as director of Emmet O’Neal Library in Mountain Brook.
John Pace, a library volunteer and former librarian at Baltimore County Public Library, will be interim director as of February 20.
The library at 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock, will host an open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, February 16, to say farewell. Light refreshments will be provided.
