Preparation work continues for an upcoming $12.8 million painting project on the Robert O. Norris Jr. Memorial Bridge’s three center spans. The project contractor has started installation of the platform system required to paint the bridge.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at least through Saturday, February 25. Motorists can expect delays of 10 to 15 minutes around 7 a.m. as workers set up the work zone and temporary traffic control equipment. Motorists can anticipate delays of approximately 5 minutes for the remainder of the day.
