Rappahannock High School, the Class 1 state baseball champion, led the list of honorees on the All-Region 1A team released last week.
The Raiders, who beat Rappahannock County, 1-0, in a nine-inning pitchers’ duel last Saturday in the state final, named four to the region’s first team and two to the second. Rappahannock also was the Region 1A tournament champion.
Lancaster, as the region runner-up and a state quarterfinalist, filled three spots on the region’s first team and one on the second.
Essex High’s Kamren Robinson was named the Region 1A player of the year and was also named the first basemen on the first team.
Rappahannock senior Wyatt Bunch was named the region’s first team pitcher….
