The Nickens Family, the Foundation for Historic Christ Church, the Kilmarnock Museum and the Lancaster Virginia Historical Society on October 15 will unveil a Historical Highway Marker recognizing The Honorable Armistead Stokalas Nickens.
The ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. near 621 Kamps Mill Road near Kilmarnock, formerly known as the Theodore Byrd Barber Shop. Afterwards, a community celebration will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on the grounds of the Lancaster Virginia Historical Society….
