WEEMS—Allen Cornelius “Blu” Conaway of Weems peacefully passed away October 13, 2022 , at home surrounded by family and friends. He was born December 2, 1980.
Allen was the the son of Evelyn Inez and John O. Conaway, and Herman Melvin Kelley. He was educated in Northumberland County Public Schools. He worked for UPS until his health began to fail. Allen also worked at Express Transmissions in Georgia and for Pride Contracting Tree Service in Virginia.
Allen is survived by his grandmother, Louise Kelley; daughter, Layla Conaway; and brothers, Melvin Conaway of Atlanta, Ga., Steven Kelley, Jerquis Kelley and Jamal Ball, all of Virginia.
Services wee held Friday, October 21, at Campbell Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. Interment followed in the Tomlin Family Cemetery, Lancaster.
