Genny Chase, former president and current member of the Kilmarnock Garden Club (KGC), created many unusual floral designs for the recent Rappahannock River Waterfowl Show at the White Stone Volunteer Fire Department.
Floral materials used in the design included Richmond red heliconia, red and white anthuriums, monstera leaves and obake red/green anthuriums, said Chase. During the Friday night preview gala, this design was placed on a round table where it rotated 360 degrees throughout the event.
Page Carlson, also a former president and current member of the club, assisted in the creation of the centerpieces for the event, using magazines, water bottles and flowers to create….
