The annual blessing of the fleet event will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 7, at the old Morris-Fisher factory tall stack on Omega Protein property at 610 Menhaden Road, Reedville. Some seating is available, but it is suggested to bring lawn chairs.
A boat parade will start at 3:30 p.m. Commercial and pleasure boat owners wishing to participate should congregate at the mouth of Cockrell Creek and the Great Wicomico River at 3:25 p.m. and follow in the procession.
