KILMARNOCK—The 2023 Capt. William H. Knull Award winners will be recognized at “Reach for the Stars” from 5:30-8:30 p.m. October 12 at the Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck (BGCNN), 517 North Main Street, Kilmarnock.
The Boys & Girls Club board of directors recently announced Donna R. Anderson and apostle John Bibbens have been selected to receive the 2023 William H. Knull Jr. Award for their service to the Northern Neck through decades of dedication to the youth of Lancaster and Northumberland counties.
The award is presented annually to Northern Neck residents who have distinguished themselves by unselfish service to God, country and community, while providing services for the betterment of youth, reported Jill Sears, director of marketing and development. The award serves as a platform to teach young people that service to others is a trait that is admirable, highly valued and worth recognizing.
