HENRICO—Shirley Brann Beatley, 88, formerly of Reedville, passed away on October 2, 2023. Shirley was a retired nurse and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Reedville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob L. and Lillian F. Brann; and her husband of 55 years, William H. Beatley.
She is survived by her daughters, Valerie Bowles (Sam) of Henrico and Felicia Beatley of Glen Allen; grandson, Randall Bowles (Misty) of Clayton, N.C.; great-grandson, Maddux Bowles; sisters-in-law, Betsy Brann of Reedville and Edith Metzler (Bill) of Richmond; and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held for the family.
The family would like to thank the management and staff of Manorhouse Assisted Living and the staff of Suncrest Hospice for the love and care they provided.
