Lancaster High School harriers Matthew Kane and Josh Woolard teamed up to finish first and second, respectively, in a four-school cross country meet at West Point last week.
King William, whose runners took spots three through seven, scored a team-low 25 points to win the meet. Lancaster was the runner-up with 51 points and West Point third with 62. Essex did not field a complete five-man team.
Kane paced 41 runners with a medalist time of 17:17. Woolard was the runner-up in 17:40.
