The Mid-County Volunteer Rescue Squad (MCVRS) Cooks Squad will offer Thanksgiving Day turkey dinners to go.
The Cooks Squad Thanksgiving dinner will include oven roasted turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, gravy, green beans, cranberry sauce, potato roll and pumpkin pie. Hand prepared by Cook’s Squad gourmet culinarians, these to-go meals are offered for $20 each, and free to seniors ages 75 and older.
“The complimentary meals for seniors are Mid-County’s way of giving back to the community,” said MCVRS secretary and Cooks Squad member Nina Bhat. “We have joined forces with many of the local businesses preparing for our food fundraising….
