Baltimore man is charged with murder and related felonies

HEATHSVILLE—A Maryland man has been arrested and charged with multiple felonies in connection with a stabbing death in Northumberland County.

Rishon Winkler, 20, of Baltimore has been charged with one count of second-degree murder, one count of aggravated malicious wounding and one count of attempted second-degree murder.

According to Northumberland County Sheriff Johnny Beauchamp, deputies responded shortly after 4 a.m. Saturday, November 18, to the 2700 block of Brown Store Road for the report of a stabbing. Deputies, responding within two minutes of the call, were met in the driveway by a female victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. A second victim, Richard E. Jacks, 58, was found deceased inside the residence….
