BON AIR—Martha M. Wilson, 87, of Bon Air was called to be with the lord on November 9, 2023. She was the widow of Ralph D. Wilson Jr.
She was the daughter of George Lee and Gladys Dodson Moore of Richmond and Beach Creek in Lancaster County.
She is survived by her son, Robert B. Wilson; his wife, Caroline; grandson, Ryan; and granddaughter, Rachel, of Chesterfield County; and son, Lee B. Wilson and grandson, Benjamin M., of Culpepper; and great-grandchildren.
Martha was a graduate of Mary Washington College and taught at Mary Munford, John Marshall and Patrick Henry schools. She was a dedicated member of Crestwood Presbyterian Church. She served as a volunteer refugee resettlement coordinator and is survived by an extended family of many from Cambodia and Vietnam.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 2, at the Corrottoman Cemetery in Ottoman.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to Crestwood Presbyterian Church, 1200 Charter Colony Parkway, Midlothian, VA 23114.
Currie Funeral Home LLC of Kilmarnock handled the arrangements.
