LHS visual arts students to show work at new facility

Sandy Manning and Lancaster High School visual arts students in grades 9 through 12 have been selected as the first group to display artwork in Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury’s new Life Enrichment Center, opening today, May 4, on the RWC Campus, 132 Lancaster Drive, Irvington.

Following the Lancaster County Public Schools Spring Art Show, Manning will install the RWC exhibition.

“We will give students who went on the Visual Arts photo field trip to RWC a cameo placement for photos in the exhibition,” said Manning. “We’ll supplement with some of our strongest visual arts work as well, so there will be five to 10 photographs and then other media represented too. We’ll select snazzy work that will catch a lot of attention.”
