The Lancaster High School indoor track team hit the ground running, winning two individual events and having multiple top 10 finishes in its first meet of the 2023-24 season.
State and nationally ranked thrower Reece Rhodes put the shot 60’9” to win and the LHS 4X800-meter relay team, Josh Woolard, Creston Saunders, Matthew Kane and Brooks Parker, raced to a first-place finish in 8:51.04 at the Denbigh Holiday Track and Field Classic December 9 in Hampton. Over 100 teams in all size classifications participated.
