Red Devils place sixth in Lancaster Duals

Lancaster High School wrestlers finished 3-2, placing sixth among 12 teams and producing four silver medalists in the daylong Lancaster Duals on Saturday, December 16. 

The Red Devils beat Windsor, 60-18; Franklin, 48-30, and Essex, 48-24. Bethel defeated Lancaster 48-26 and Mathews beat LHS, 51-24. 

Ashby Russell (132), Ewan Scott (165), Ethan Parks (144) and Hunter Sebra (150) each went 4-1 to earn a silver medal.

“Ashby really impressed me with his four-pin performance on the day,” said LHS head coach Craig Oren. 

AP Pollard (157) returned from an illness, got a pin in his first match back, and….
