The Cobbs Hall Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is planning a celebration to honor Vietnam War veterans from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. March 29 at Lee’s Restaurant, 30 South Main Street, Kilmarnock.
Commonwealth Senior Living (CSL) of Kilmarnock has graciously agreed to join this “thank you for your service and sacrifice” event by offering a free slice of Lee’s pie and a cup of coffee to veterans, reported Joyce Pittman. CSL also will have a gift basket for one of the lucky attendees. Hospice of Virginia of Tappahannock plans to participate with cake slices to take home.
