KILMARNOCK—William “Bill” Rottkamp who died on March 23, 2024, his 87th birthday, is survived by Julie Rottkamp, his loving wife of 21 years.
In addition to his four children and 10 grandchildren, he is survived by his sister, Barbara Brinkman of Indianapolis, Ind.; and his brother, Larry Rottkamp of North Bellmore, N.Y.
Other survivors include his stepchildren, Patricia Chitterling of Millersville, Md., and Mark Rose, of Evergreen, Colo., and five step-grandchildren.
Contributing to his cause of death were a series of serious falls.
A service of thanksgiving for his life will be held at 11 a.m. May 4 at Grace Episcopal Church in Kilmarnock. A reception will follow in the parish hall.
