The Peter and Will Anderson Trio, playing music composed by the American icon and legendary Tin Pan Alley songwriter, Irving Berlin, will close the Rappahannock Concert Society’s 2023-24 concert season. The concert will be held at 7 p.m. June 29 at The Performing Arts Theater at the Northumberland County School Complex, 201 Academic Lane, Heathsville.
The Anderson identical twins, drawn to jazz at an early age in Washington, D.C., are considered virtuosos on the clarinet and saxophone, reported publicity chairman Dolores Meo. Graduates of The Juilliard School of Music in New York City, they are considered the most extraordinary American jazz woodwind instrumentalists, composers, and arrangers in the field today. Guitarist Adam Moezinia, who also studied at the Juilliard School, joins the brothers to complete the trio….
