The Northern Neck–Middlesex Free Health Clinic (NNMFHC), which serves the community’s uninsured and under-insured, has launched a new program to connect adults struggling with any form of addiction to treatment.
Known as the HOPE Initiative, those struggling with addiction now have access to a free service to help them down the path to recovery. Services are driven by a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (PRS), a trained individual with their own lived experience with substance use.
