Chesapeake Bank recently announced the retirement of John K. O’Shaughnessy, executive vice president, effective June 28. He has served as senior credit officer, responsible for the commercial/consumer and residential mortgage lending of the bank, and as regional executive for the Northern Neck market.
O’Shaughnessy joined Chesapeake Bank in 1997 after beginning his banking career in the Northern Neck in 1983 with Signet Bank, formerly Bank of Virginia, where he was vice president and area manager of the bank’s seven offices in the Northern Neck.
