LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, July 12, with the Hon. David B. Caddell Jr. presiding.

Joseph S. Callahan of Burgess, charged with six felonies for violating probation, failed to appear for a show cause hearing.

In the case of Juan A. Norris of Williamsburg, charged with five felonies for violating probation, a show cause hearing was continued by the prosecution until July 26.

In the case of Joshua S. Meador, no address given, charged with three felonies for violating probation, a show cause hearing was scheduled for August 23.

Mindy S. Davis of Mathews pleaded guilty to a felony for grand larceny, auto theft and was given a five-year suspended sentence with 10 years of probation. Davis will pay $463 in court costs and $350 in restitution.

Davis also was charged with a felony for assault on a law enforcement officer; a felony for failing to comply with pretrial conditions and a misdemeanor for obstructing/resisting arrest. Those charges were nolle prossed.

Steve E. Robinson of Lancaster pleaded no contest to four felonies for failing to register as a violent sex offender. He was given a deferred disposition as a first offender. A hearing was scheduled for January 10, 2025.

Benjamin A. Wilson of Lancaster pleaded guilty to a felony for shooting a firearm from a vehicle. He was given a five-year suspended sentence with 10 years of probation. Wilson also was ordered to pay $463 in court costs.

Wilson also was charged with five additional felonies for shooting from a vehicle. Those charges were nolle prossed.

In the case of Jacob M. Monday of Stafford, charged with two felonies and one misdemeanor for violating probation, an arraignment was scheduled for July 17.
