Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported felony charges against one individual.
Jerran Christopher Diggs, 46, of Abbeville, La., was charged August 23 with manufacturing, selling, giving, distributing or possessing with intent to manufacture, sell, give or distribute a controlled substance or an imitation controlled substance.

August 24: Staff responded to the 400 block of Mosquito Point Road for legal advice, to the 200 block of Burnt Wharf Road for threats, and to the 100 block of Dawson Avenue for destruction of property.
August 25: Staff responded to the 30 block of Venable Drive for an adult welfare check, to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for a custody dispute, to the 20 block of Cow Shed Road for a single-vehicle traffic crash, to the 300 block of Twin Branch Road for a domestic assault, to the 500 block of Devils Bottom Road for a disorderly juvenile, to the 40 block of Windjammer Lane for a disorderly person, to the 3000 block of Merry Point Road for a civil complaint, to the 1600 block of Morattico Road for livestock in the highway, and to the 1000 block of Ottoman Ferry Road for trespassing.
Staff also conducted 14 traffic stops, issued 12 summonses, assisted three motorists, recorded a deer strike accident, handled a request for traffic control, investigated five building alarms, processed a mental health order, logged an inmate transport, received 11 E911 hang up calls, and fielded three calls for animal control service.

Kilmarnock Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at 5999 North Main Street.
Northumberland County Sheriff Johnny Beauchamp this week reported charges against nine individuals.
Felonies
Donte Steffan Sutton, 27, of Lancaster was charged August 19 on a capias to show cause issued by the Northumberland County Circuit Court (NCCC) for failing to comply with the terms of his probation.
Kevin Kyle Mahan, 38, of Callao was charged August 20 on a capias/attachment of the body issued by the King George County General District Court for failing to comply with the terms of his pre-trial agreement on the underlying charge of possession of a Schedule I/II drug. He was served by NCSO.
Doris Noel Brown, 59, of Northumberland was charged August 20 on a direct indictment issued by the NCCC on an original charge of embezzlement.
Misdemeanors
A Heathsville man, 50, was charged August 18 on a capias/attachment of the body issued by the Richmond County General District Court for failing on an original charge of driving suspended. He was served by the Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO).
A Heathsville man, 52, was charged August 19 on a capias to show cause issued by the NCCC for failing to pay restitution.
A Burgess man, 37, was charged August 20 with assault and battery.
A Lottsburg man, 21, was charged August 21 on a direct indictment issued by the Hanover County Circuit Court on an original charge of driving under the influence of drugs, namely marijuana, under the age of 21. He was served by NCSO.
A Callao man, 30, was charged August 23 with three counts of damaging property and one count of assault and battery of a family member.
A Reedville man, 24, was charged August 23 with 19 misdemeanor warrants for violating a protective order.
