9/11 memorial service set in Kilmarnock

The Cobbs Hall Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) will host a 9/11 Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 11, in the Never Forget Garden at the Kilmarnock Museum, 76 North Main Street, Kilmarnock.

“Nearly 3,000 individuals were killed in the terrorist attacks on that date in 2001 who we will honor in the garden our members designed and installed, and even watered through this year’s drought,” said regent Donna Weiler.

Following the service, the museum will be open for tours exclusively for guests of the service.
