The RAL Art Center on September 21 will celebrate 75 years of “Bringing Art to the Community and the Community to the Arts” with Be Part of the Art from 6-9 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck, 517 North Main Street, Kilmarnock.
In honor of RAL’s colorful history, this will be a one-of-a-kind event, featuring artful entertainment, immersive activities and tantalizing cuisine, reported chairman Laurie McCord.
The fun will include:
• Artists in action. Painter Tommy Fox will execute a triptych while other RAL artists create pieces in various media.
• Be a masterpiece. Be part of the art, literally. Attendees may have their photos taken with whimsical interpretations of classic masterpieces. Volunteers will circulate with frames, urging guests to….
