Northumberland Public Library (NPL), 7204 Northumberland Highway, Heathsville, recently announced several special upcoming events.
Books Alive!, sponsored by the Friends of NPL, will feature retired Army colonel, former state delegate and author L. Scott Lingamfelter at 5 p.m. Friday, October 4, reported library director Jane Blue.
Medicare and You, an educational seminar, will be held from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, October 10. No sign up is required, come and have questions answered, said Blue. Light refreshments will be served.
