The Dave Marchant Memorial Virginia Veterans Tournament was held Saturday, September 27, at the Piankatank River Golf Club (PRGC) in Hartfield. The tournament was hosted by the local Fourth Degree Order of the Knights of Columbus.
The event honors Marchant who led the group at the time of his death in 2020, reported Gary Richardson. Proceeds go to the Virginia Veterans Services Foundation which in turn supports the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Veterans Services. Together they assist those who have served and their families.
