Lancaster quarterback Porter Pittman hit Zaden Veney on a crucial conversion pass for the two-point go-ahead and a 64-62 win in the fourth overtime against Arcadia on Saturday, September 28. The Red Devils lost two weeks ago in OT to Middlesex.
With Lancaster backed up to the goal line, Arcadia’s Aiden Moore had a two-yard fumble return and Djasley Lucas rushed for the conversion with 1:33 remaining to knot regulation at 34-34.
The host Devils had taken a 34-26 lead early in the fourth when Demarcus Howard scored his third TD of the game on a six-yard run.
Howard, who finished with 202 yards on 27 carries, scored four TDs in overtime to finish with all seven of Lancaster’s offensive TD’s.
