Children and adults are invited to do their Christmas shopping at Golden Village Christmas. This annual celebration of Christmastide, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, December 7, at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, will include caroling, free hot mulled cider, a bake sale and visits with Santa.
Shoppers will find a variety of gift vendors on the Tavern Green. Freshly-made decorative door swags and other holiday greenery will be for sale by volunteers, said director Corinne Becker. A raffle will be held for a variety of themed gift baskets.
