On Sunday, December 1, Del. Hillary Pugh Kent presented Ammon G. Dunton Jr. a joint resolution from the General Assembly commending his professional and civic contributions to the Northern Neck and the Commonwealth of Virginia over the last 50 years.
The resolution honored his leadership as chairman of the Bay Banks of Virginia, Bank of Lancaster and Northern Neck Insurance Company; president of the Tidewater Foundation, the Lancaster Virginia Historical Society and the Northern Neck Historical Society; chairman of the Northern Neck Orchestra Board; and vestry member and three-time Senior Warden of Grace Episcopal Church, where this resolution was presented.
