LANCASTER—Lois Virginia Clarke Wilmore, 90, of Lancaster passed away on June 28, 2017.
She is survived by her son, Ronald H. Wilmore; daughter, Patricia Wilmore; five grandchildren, Ashley Wilmore, Brian Wilmore (Charlotte), Stacey Eggers (Dana), Christian Barth and Alexander Wilmore; seven great-grandchildren, Adam Wilmore, Tate Wilmore, Bradley Wilmore, Shelby Haynie, Brooklyn Wilmore, Daniel Barth and Lillian Barth; and her siblings, Austin Clarke, Mary Jean Wilmore, Leona Medlin, Barbara Childs, R.D. Clarke, Llewelyn Clarke and Audrey Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace A. Wilmore Jr., and her brothers, James Clarke, Morris Clarke and Warren J. Clarke.
Lois was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Lively, and she retired from Levi Strauss Company in Warsaw after working there for many years. After retirement she enjoyed quilting with her sisters.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 3, at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. Interment followed the service at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery, Alfonso. Family received friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
