KILMARNOCK—The Kilmarnock Town Council is seeking applicants to fill the unexpired term of council member Les Spivey who recently resigned.
During a Monday, December 16, meeting Mayor Shawn Donahue reflected on the decades of service and dedication Spivey provided Kilmarnock through his work on both council and the planning commission.
Donahue emphasized his and the town’s gratitude for all of Spivey’s service over the years, and noted the importance of public involvement in local government and urged residents to stay informed and involved.
