HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland planning commission on Thursday, January 16, recommended a modification to an existing conditional use permit requested by Westmoreland Players Inc. The change would allow the group to install a digital sign in front of the theater that would conform to the county’s sign ordinance.
According to zoning administrator Phillip Marston, the county’s sign ordinance allows a sign up to 64 square feet with up to 50% of the square footage illuminated.
