On Sunday, January 26, Irvington Baptist Church deacon and moderator Randy Graham closed the worship service with the announcement that the Memorial Hall had been renamed the Farmer Fellowship Hall in honor of John Howard Farmer’s almost 40 years as pastor. From left are Rev. Farmer and Graham. Following the benediction, everyone retreated to the newly named Farmer Fellowship Hall where a plaque of recognition was hung on the wall under Farmer’s picture. Then everyone enjoyed a potluck luncheon hosted by the hospitality committee with delicious dishes brought to the table by everyone gathered.
