Jazz On Stage
The Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts On Stage series will continue at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, February 8, at the Lancaster Elementary School Theater, 191 School Street, Kilmarnock. Good Shot Judy will perform classic swing, crooner favorites and original compositions.

The Second Saturday Speaker Series will continue at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 8, at the Steamboat Era Museum, 156 King Carter Drive, Irvington. Jack Shaum will present stories of the Old Bay Line.

TOGA
The Tidewater Oyster Gardeners Association (TOGA) will hold its annual membership meeting from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, February 8, at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, Waterman’s Hall, 1370 Greate Road, Gloucester Point.

Woman’s club
The Woman’s Club of Northumberland County will meet Tuesday, February 11, at the WCNC Clubhouse, 2928 Northumberland Highway, Lottsburg. Doors will open at noon; the meeting will begin at 12:30 p.m.
The meeting will concern the past election and concerns going forward. Come join the fun. Guests and new members welcome.
Chamber concert
The Northern Neck Orchestra (NNO) Chamber Music Series will continue at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 9, at Good Luck Cellars, 1025 Goodluck Road, Kilmarnock. The concert will feature the Piano Trio No. 2 by Dmitri Shostakovich, Three Preludes for Piano by George Gershwin and the Piano Trio No. 1 by Felix Mendelssohn.

Rotary dates
The Northern Neck Rotary Club meets on second and fourth Wednesdays at River Counties Community Foundation, 834 Rappahannock Drive, White Stone. Those interested in the speaker topics of Rotary are welcome.
The February 12 speaker will be Robert Teagle, executive director of the Foundation for Historic Christ Church. The February 26 speaker will be Samantha Edwards, director of Northern Neck CASA.
Registration for the Spring 2025 Gardening in the Northern Neck Seminar opened February 1 at www.nnmg.org. Tickets are $50, not $5 as erroneously mentioned in an article appearing in the January 30 Rappahannock Record.
The seminar will be held from 8:15 a.m.-3 p.m. March 29 at the White Stone Church of the Nazarene Family Life Center, 57 Whisk Drive, White Stone.
Musical comedy
The Westmoreland Players Theatre, 16217 Richmond Road, Callao, will present “The Addams Family, a New Musical Comedy,” February 14 through March 2.

NNO concert

Winter lecture
The Reedville Fishermen’s Museum 2025 Winter Lecture Series will continue at 6:30 p.m. March 3 at the Fairfields Volunteer Fire Department, 119 Main Street, Reedville.
The presentation will be “The Sinking of the Glenna Fay.” Peale Rogers and Stan O’Bier will discuss the risks and rewards of pound netting.
