White Stone closing first phase of sewage project, anticipating bids for the next

WHITE STONE—The second phase of the town’s public sewage project is moving into the request for bid phase, town manager Patrick Frere told council at its March 6 meeting.

According to Frere, an advertisement for bids was placed in a Richmond newspaper in late February and a computer pre-bid conference was held at the town office last week. Bids are due to the town by 2 p.m. on March 18.

“And this is the last outstanding grant project for the town,” said Mayor William Hubbard.

This second phase, once complete, will bring to a close….
