The Cobbs Hall Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will honor Vietnam War veterans from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at Lee’s Restaurant, 30 South Main Street, Kilmarnock.
Commonwealth Senior Living in Kilmarnock has graciously agreed to join in the “thank you for your service and sacrifice” event by offering a free slice of Lee’s pie and a cup of coffee to veterans, reported Joyce Pittman.
Cobbs Hall Chapter members will hand out American flag lapel pins, brochures and a heartfelt “thank you” to veterans and any of their family….
