LHS baseball team goes 1-1 in Wells Fargo Advisors Invitational

After falling in its opening game of the Wells Fargo Advisors Invitational, the Lancaster High School varsity baseball team picked up a win over Class 2  Nottoway to improve to 5-2 overall.

Rappahannock County scored five runs in the seventh inning to put the finishing touches on an 8-2 win over the host Red Devils on Thursday, March 27.

The Panthers had opened the scoring with a run on a wild pitch in the first inning and added two more in the fifth before putting five on the board in the top of the seventh on four walks, a single and two errors.
