Sheriff’s Report 05-01-25

Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported charges against four individuals.

Felonies

Corrine Diyonne Bolton, 30, of White Stone was charged April 21 with revocation of suspension of sentence and probation on the underlying charge of obtaining money by false pretense.

Michael Terry Burns, 55, of Henrico was charged April 24 with assault and battery of a family or household member after been convicted twice previously of a combination of assault and battery, malicious wounding or unlawful wounding (felony); assault and battery a family or household member (misdemeanor) and destruction of property (misdemeanor).

Jerrick Deion Saunders, 32, of Lancaster was charged April 25 with revocation of suspension of sentence and probation on the underlying charge of possession of burglarious tools.

Misdemeanor

A Lancaster man, 62, was charged April 25 with driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

Activity report

April 21: Staff responded to the 1500 block of Good Luck Road for a subject with a gun; and to the 1400 block of Avis Trail for a domestic disturbance.

April 22: Staff responded to the 200 block of Benson Road for a single-vehicle traffic crash.

April 23: Staff responded to the 11000 block of Mary Ball Road for destruction of property, to the 80 block of Collin Lane for a suspicious person, to the 500 block of Simmons Lane for a fraud, and to Slabtown Road for a suspicious person.

April 24: Staff responded to the 200 block of Merry Point Road for an abandoned vehicle, to the 70 block of Wild Flower Lane for trespassing, to the Robert O. Norris Jr. Memorial Bridge for debris in the highway, to the 500 block of Mary Ball Road for a larceny, to the 200 block of Weems Road for suspicious activity, and to the 1300 block of Irvington Road for a juvenile complaint.

April 25: Staff responded to the 900 block of Chesapeake Drive for a custody dispute, to the 10000 block of River Road for threats, and to the 70 block of Faith Circle for a suspicious vehicle.

April 26: Staff responded to the 1300 block of Irvington Road for a suspicious person, to the 2000 block of White Chapel Road for threats, to the Norris Bridge for debris in the highway, to Shore Drive for a noise complaint, and to the 3000 block of White Chapel Road for debris in the highway.

April 27: Staff responded to the 200 block of Lowery Creek Road for a juvenile complaint, to Christ Church and Weems roads for a two-vehicle traffic crash, to the 200 block of Robbins Lane for a larceny, to the 500 block of North Main Street for disorderly conduct, and to the 18000 block of Mary Ball Road for a disabled vehicle.

Staff also conducted 35 traffic stops, issued 35 summonses, assisted five motorists, recorded two deer strike accidents, handled a request for traffic control, investigated seven building alarms, logged one inmate transport, received five E911 hang up calls, and fielded three calls for animal control service.

Fire calls

Kilmarnock Volunteer Fire Department responded to a traffic crash at 5411 Balls Neck Road, with White Stone VFD and Upper Lancaster VFD to a field fire on Cox Farm Road, and to a brush fire on Carlson Road.

White Stone VFD also responded to traffic crashes at 216 Benson Road, and Christ Church and Weems roads.
