HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, May 6, with the Hon. John S. Martin presiding.
Wade C. Bryan of Heathsville pleaded nolo contendere to a charge of entering a school as a convicted tier three sex offender. A deferred disposition was set for May 5, 2026.
In the case of Alexis A. Carter of Heathsville, charged with 19 counts of dog fighting activity, a pre-trial hearing was set for July 15 with a jury trial slated for August 29. Carter also was charged with a misdemeanor of animal neglect by depriving an animal of food, etc.
In the case of Sydney Dorin of Montross, charged with embezzlement of over $200, a jury trial was set for June 11.
In the case of Jennie L. Lansberry of Heathsville, charged with probation violation on a felony offense, a bond hearing was set for May 20.
In the case of Keenan L. Samuel of Lancaster, charged with two counts of probation violation on a felony offense, a trial was set for October 28.
