Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported charges against four individuals.
Feloney
Travis Devon Wiggins, 38, of Lancaster was charged May 8 with revocation of suspension of sentence and probation on the underlying charge of entering a bank, armed, with intent to commit larceny.
Misdemeanors
A Lancaster man, 24, was charged May 5 with assault and battery of a family or household member.
A White Stone man, 32, was charged May 8 with failure to enroll with Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program (VASAP) and is in non-compliance status on the underlying charge of DWI, second offense within 5-10 years, BAC greater than 20%.
A Lancaster man, 24, was charged May 8 with failure to appear in court on May 6 on the underlying charge of assault and battery.

May 5: Staff responded to the 1900 block of Lara Road for a single-vehicle traffic crash, to the 100 block of First Street for an assault, to the 3000 block of White Chapel Road for a verbal dispute, to the 2000 block of River Road for a juvenile complaint, and to the 2000 block of Lara Road for gunshots in the late evening hours.
May 6: Staff responded to Weems and Gaskins roads for a single-vehicle traffic crash, to Gaskins Road for a downed tree, to the 500 block of White Chapel Road for a single-vehicle traffic crash, and to the 1000 block of Irvington Road for a verbal dispute.
May 7: Staff responded to the 6000 block of Mary Ball Road for a suspicious person, to the 1000 block of Chownings Ferry Road for an adult welfare check, and to Mary Ball and Regina roads for a disabled vehicle.
May 8: Staff responded to Lumberlost Road for a disabled vehicle, to the 500 block of Goodluck Road for a disabled vehicle, and to the 500 block of Hoecake Road for a domestic disturbance.
May 9: Staff responded to the 1000 block of White Chapel Road for a verbal dispute, to the 5000 block of Mary Ball Road for a larceny, and to the 2000 block of Merry Point Road for an assault.
May 10: Staff responded to the 3000 block of White Chapel Road for a traffic hazard, to Kamps Mill Road for a disabled vehicle, to the 12000 block of Mary Ball Road for a traffic complaint, to the 200 block of Crab Point Road for a suspicious person, and to Mary Ball and White Chapel roads for a disabled vehicle.
May 11: Staff responded to James B. Jones Memorial Highway for a disabled vehicle.
Staff also conducted 32 traffic stops, issued 28 summonses, assisted five motorists, recorded a deer strike accident, handled a request for traffic control, investigated three building alarms, logged an inmate transport, received an E911 hang up call, and fielded four calls for animal control service.
Fire calls
White Stone Volunteer Fire Department responded to a traffic crash at Weems and Gaskins roads.
Upper Lancaster VFD responded to a traffic crash at 5373 White Chapel Road.
Kilmarnock VFD responded to a traffic crash at 807 Mount Olive Road.
Northumberland County Sheriff Johnny Beauchamp this week reported charges against 11 individuals.
Felonies
Shawm Rameek Sorrell (no age given) was charged April 30 with failing to register as a sex offender. This was a Middlesex County warrant, served by the Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO).
Gary Wade Coates, 63, of Callao was charged May 6 with two counts of grand larceny. These were Richmond County warrants served by the NCSO.
Eric Wesley Milau, 37, of Callao was charged May 6 with a direct indictment issued by the Northumberland County Multi-jurisdictional Court for two counts of possession of a firearm after being guilty of a felony. He also was charged with selling/giving a firearm to a felon or ineligible person, and two counts of selling firearms without verification.
Justin Aaron Gilbert, 48, of Reedville was charged May 10 with two felonies for writing bad checks.
Misdemeanors
A Kilmarnock man, 83, was charged May 3 with a summons for pointing/brandishing a firearm.
A Callao man, 38, was charged May 5 with practicing a profession without a license.
A Reedville woman, 24, was charged May 7 with a summons for not complying with compulsory attendance.
A Heathsville woman, 22, was charged May 8 with a capias/attachment of the body issued from the Lancaster County General District Court for multiple interlock violations per VASAP. NCSO served the warrant.
A Reedville man, 23, was charged May 8 with indecent exposure.
A Heathsville man, 61, was charged May 11 with sexual battery.
A Heathsville man, 35, was charged May 11 with assault and battery of a family member.
