The Northern Neck Sail & Power Squadron (NNSPS) recently announced National Safe Boating Week will be observed May 17-23. The promotion aims to encourage safe boating practices and emphasize the importance of being prepared and responsible on the water.
With that awareness to Safe Boating Week and in partnership with The Sea Tow Foundation, NNSPS has equipped Life Jacket Loaner Stations at Thomas Landing Boat and Kayak Launch in Lancaster County and Glebe Point Kayak Launch in Northumberland County, reported public relations coordinator KC Cavallaro.
