The classic skipjack Claud W. Somers passed its recent U.S. Coast Guard certification inspection with flying colors. Cruises are being booked for the rest of the season.
The sailing vessel, owned and maintained by the Reedville Fishermen’s Museum (RFM) for the past 25 years, is available for scheduled tours on July 26, August 16 and 30, September 13 (the day of the Classic Boat Show), October 18 and 25. Some cruises have limited availability.
Cruises leave from the museum dock around 10 a.m. for a two-hour sail.
