Lady Devils open district play, 2-0

After spotting Northumberland the first set, Lancaster claimed three in a row to beat the Indians, 3-1, and improve to 9-4 in varsity volleyball on Thursday, September 25. The Lady Devils also beat Colonial Beach in their Northern Neck District opener last week for a 2-0 start in the league.

The Indians won the first set, 25-11, before Lancaster won three straight, 25-23, 25-20 and 25-15, behind 18 kills from Lexi VerMeer and eight service aces by Kelsey Bishoff.
