Kilmarnock Baptist Church (KBC), 65 East Church Street, Kilmarnock, will host a concert to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 11. The concert will feature pieces from Scott Joplin to Mozart and Beethoven. Donations will be welcomed.
Flutist Laura Rowe, cellist Beth Overholt and pianist Arline Hinkson will join the pastor and violinist, Kevin Crowder. “All four are busy musicians in the region,” Crowder said, noting that Hinkson and he are members of the Northern Neck Orchestra, Rowe and Overholt are active in the Grace Episcopal Church music ministries, and Hinkson also is an organist at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Warsaw.
