The Tavern Quilt Guild (TQG) will host Bingo for Quilts at 1:30 p.m. August 19 at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville.
The $20 admission fee includes 15 games, reported Linda Montross. Bonus games and additional cards will be available for purchase as will snacks and drinks.
All the prizes have been created by TQG members, she said. Prizes will include table runners, bed scarves, lap quilts, wall hangings and aprons. The grand prizes are full size bed quilts.
The TQG meets at 10 a.m. on first Tuesdays at the Transportation Museum Building on the campus of Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern.
