Sheriff’s Report 01-15-26

Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported misdemeanor charges against six individuals.

A Kilmarnock man, 43, was charged January 3 with assault and battery of a family or household member.

A Kilmarnock woman, 45, was charged January 3 with assault and battery of a family or household member.

A Lancaster woman, 34, was charged January 5 with trespassing, and three counts of violating a provision of a child abuse protective order.

A Lancaster man, 38, was charged January 6 with trespassing, and three counts of violating a provision of a child abuse protective order.

A White Stone man, 56, was charged January 6 with entering property for the purpose of damaging it or the contents thereof, or the purpose of interfering with the rights of the owner, user or occupant to such property free from interference, and trespassing.

A Lancaster man, 71, was charged January 10 with trespassing.

Activity report

January 5: Staff responded to the 200 block of School Street for the report of a domestic disturbance; responded to the 200 block of Burnt Wharf Road for the report of trespassing; responded to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for the report of threats; responded to the 11000 block of Courthouse Road for the report of trespassing.

January 6: Staff responded to the 1300 block of Irvington Road for the report of larceny; responded to the 100 block of Pinckardsville Road for the report of a suspicious person.

January 7: Staff responded to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for the report of trespassing

January 8: Staff responded to the 900 block of Pierces Road for the report of trespassing; responded to the 30 block of Chesapeake Drive for the report of a domestic disturbance.

January 9: Staff responded to the 800 block of Rappahannock Drive for the report of a disabled vehicle.

January 10: Staff responded to the 6000 block of Mary Ball Road for the report of a downed tree.

January 11: Staff responded to the 4000 block of Merry Point Road for the report of gunshots in the early morning hours; responded to the 1400 block of Millenbeck Road for the report of destruction of property; responded to the 300 block of White Pine Drive for the report of threats.

Staff also conducted 23 traffic stops, issued 17 summonses, assisted four motorists, recorded five deer strike accidents, handled a request for traffic control, investigated two building alarms, processed a mental health order, logged three inmate transports, received five E911 hang up calls, and fielded two calls for animal control service.

Fire call

Upper Lancaster Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fuel spill on Morattico Road and a fire alarm on Smith Lane.

Kilmarnock Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fuel spill on Harris Drive.

White Stone Volunteer Fire Department responded to a mower fire on Jones Drive.
