
WEEMS—Lisa Anne Seubel Booth, 57, of Weems passed away on February 20, 2026, in Richmond, following a very brief illness.
Lisa was born on July 30, 1968, in Falls Church. She grew up in Northern Virginia and graduated from South Lakes High School in Reston in 1986. She earned her undergraduate degree in early childhood education from Virginia Tech in 1991 before pursuing a legal career, receiving her law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2002.
Lisa built a distinguished legal career in the Richmond area. She practiced law with Williams Mullen and McGuireWoods before joining Dominion Energy in 2007. Throughout her career, Lisa was respected for her intellect, professionalism and dedication to her work and colleagues.
Above all else, Lisa was devoted to her family. She shared 33 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Craig Booth, and took great pride in raising their three children, Andrew, Claire and Anna, in Richmond and Weems. Her family was the center of her life. She was known for her warmth, strength and unwavering support of those she loved.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Warren Jeffery Seubel; her paternal grandparents, Anne Higgs and Warren F. Seubel II; and her maternal grandparents, Nancy Sweatt and Nevin J. Stevenson.
In addition to her husband and children, Lisa is survived by her mother, Sally Stevenson Sweatt; stepfather, Robert A. Sweatt; stepmother, Sarah S. Seubel; and her siblings, Erin Seubel Reed, Adam Sweatt, Nancy Sweatt Tallent, Stephanie Sweatt Taylor, Samuel Macaluso, Anthony Macaluso, Brian Macaluso, Warren F. Seubel III and James C. Psaila. She is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VCU Massey Cancer Center or Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital.
