HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, March 3, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
In the case of Donte S. Sutton of Lancaster, charged with probation violation on a felony offense, a trial was continued to April 28.
In the case of Lakeena O. Noel of Virginia Beach, charged with four counts of probation violation on a felony offense, sentencing was scheduled for March 24.
In the case of Kendall C. Anderson of Burgess, charged with four counts of distributing/selling Schedule I/II drugs for profit, a status hearing was set for May 19.
In the case of Yasmeen I. Frazier of Tappahannock, charged with forgery/uttering and obtaining money under false pretenses, the case was continued to April 28.
Reminder, those charged with alleged crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
