GREENVILLE, SC—William Jarrett Whaley, 48, of Seneca, S.C., passed away on September 17, 2025, surrounded by family and other loved ones.
He is survived by his daughters, Mackenzie Adamick and Lilly “Kat” Whaley and her fiancé, Hezier Neri-Cruz; his father, William Ray Whaley and his wife, Sandy Whaley; his sister, Justin Whaley Barnes and her husband, Roger Barnes; his nephew, Dawson Barnes; his fiancée, Sibyl Haynes and her mother, Pamela; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Jarrett was a 1995 graduate of Lancaster High School. Many will remember him from his time on the air at WKWI.
The family wishes to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, phone calls, and cards. A special thanks to his aunt, Peggy Whaley, for hosting a gathering for the family. In accordance with his wishes, no funeral service will be held.
